Prevent Plaza Associates From Ruining Your Credit
Plaza Associates (Plaza) is a large multi-service organization with headquarters in New York City. Plaza specializes in the collection of delinquent consumer debt. If Plaza Associates has contacted you about a debt, then they likely used an aggressive collection tactic such as numerous calls from their bill collectors, collection correspondence, i.e. letters, and/or legal proceedings. Although Plaza Associates may pursue legal action, they outsource their legal work which means that they hire an outside law firm for the court appearances and other legal collection methods.
Importantly, once a debt is turned over to Plaza Associates, they are able to report derogatory information about your credit history. A negative mark such as a charge off or collection item may prevent a lender from giving you a mortgage, car loan, credit card, or any other type of financing.
Fortunately there are ways to use the consumer protection laws against Plaza Associates Collection Agency and delete them from your credit record. You may attempt to repair your credit with self-help methods however, the most expedient resolution may be to contact a law firm which specializes in credit report repair. This is exactly what I did and I got amazing results.
Repair Your Credit by Erasing Collections
I started fixing my credit with the mind set that I simply would not allow collection agencies like Plaza Associates ruin my financial well-being for the next seven years (by law negative information may remain on your credit report for 7 years). At first I thought I could simply make a few phone calls and remove the negative credit. Unfortunately, the process was more difficult than I thought. The credit bureaus ignored all of my requests.
I did not want to have credit problems forever so I contacted Lexington Law Firm and they immediately began repairing my credit. They got rid of the collection agencies and also fixed other stuff including a judgment and charge offs.
I enjoyed getting calls from my Lexington Law case manager telling me how much my credit was improving. Lexington Law really fixed my entire credit history which was obvious since my credit score improved from 588 to 729. Every few weeks I got a letter in the mail showing that a bad item was erased!
Here is one deletion letter showing Charge Offs and a Judgment was Deleted!

My Score Improved after Bad Credit Was Erased
Once my credit history was cleaned up my credit score was actually above average for the first time in years! Since Lexington began fixing my credit, it went up about 140 points.
Here is a chart which shows how my score improved every month:
