Credit Bureau Dispute Letter - delete judgments, charge offs, collection agencies, repossessions, foreclosure, late payments, and more!
A Credit repair letter can be used to dispute and challenge negative information on your credit report such as late payments, charge offs, collection agency items, bankruptcy, judgment, repossessions or any other derogatory item.
You should check your credit report periodically and look for any inaccurate items to dispute. Even one negative item can severly lower an otherwise good credit score.
Credit dispute letters should be sent to the appropriate credit bureau (Experian, Equifax, Transunion). These credit bureaus are separate companies and so each may have different information on your credit file. Further, these credit bureaus handle the dispute process differently and you should diligently follow-up after mailing your credit dispute letter.
Although you can submit a credit bureau dispute online, we always recommend mailing a paper hard copy dispute via mail. A hard copy dispute letter creates a verifiable paper trail as the credit bureaus are under a legal obligation to respond to a consumer credit dispute. Typically a credit bureau will respond to your credit dispute letter within 30 days.
